Bio
Brassicaceae-infecting pathogen Albugo is a powerful obligate oomycete pathogen that compromises multifaceted aspects of immune responses including effector-triggered immunity and non-host resistance. My goal is to illustrate the mechanisms of the strong immune suppression conferred by Albugo by studying the roles of its effectors.
