Jasper Raistrick

I am an undergraduate student at the University of East Anglia studying Biological Sciences with the fantastic opportunity to be doing a placement year at TSL after completing my second year of my degree. I am really excited to be working at the internationally renowned Sainsbury Laboratory with Gulnara Tagirdzhanova on the research of lichens, their microbiology and structures. I’m looking forward to discovering more about this sparsely understood, brilliantly colourful and diverse symbiosis, using microscopy and developing my laboratory skills.
