Postdoctoral Scientist
Iris Eisermann
Bio
I am working as a postdoctoral scientist within the group of Professor Nick Talbot. I am very much interested in the role of septins during plant infection by the rice blast fungus Magnaporthe oryzae. My main focus is to identify the function of septins during both appressorium mediated plant infection and cell-to-cell movement during plant invasion.
